The brewer of Cizova brewery, Mr Martin Hrubes, also happens to be a co-owner as well as a graduate of SPSPT (diploma in food industry) in Prague.
He is a brewer boasting both domestic and international experience, who loves to brew beer in the proper way. That means without using any artificial substitutes for the beer's taste or smell. In Czech Republic, he took part in bulding and/or brewed in Britovsky pivovar Tesak, Vzajemny pivovar Kytin, Pivovar Prachatice, Pivovar Studanky, pivovar U Tomana, pivovar Glokner and pivovar Cerny orel Kromeriz. He also worked at Budweiser Budvar as well as Pilsner Urquell.
Among other things, Martin also provides international consulting. During his career, he had the opportunity to brew beer in several exotic locations - Melbourne, Astana, Yerevan, Tbilisi, Krasnojarsk, Novorosijsk or Volgograd, mostly in big capacity breweries. This is the origin of his expertise and wide variety of experience, which are difficult to come by in Czech Republic.
